Kim Smith is an Instructor in the School of Professional Nursing Practice where she teaches Transition to Nursing Practice and Coordinates the NSG 472 L Preceptorship expereince, she also serves as Assistant Director. Prior to teaching at USM, Kim taught at the community college level for 5 years, serving as Adjunct, teaching Complex Health Conditions and Introduction to Health and Illness concepts. Kim has experience in Mental Health, Med/Surg, Cardiac, Emergency, and Home Health Nursing. Kim serves as sponsor for Student Nursing Association.
